The International Competition for Electronic Music co-hosted by the Beijing Modern Music Institute, the Organizing Committee of Music China, and Tianjin Media College, with QQ Music Electronic Music Alliance as the exclusive strategic cooperation platform, is about to make a big splash. This competition is an important upgrade from the original National EDM Electronic Music Original Competition, with registration opening on August 1st and closing on September 10th. The finals and the award ceremony will be held on October 12-13, 2024, at Music China. During the competition, the organizing committee will also hold the China Electronic Music Industry Exchange Conference and Electronic Music Production Master Classes at the venue, and everyone is welcome to sign up and participate actively.
The competition adheres to the principles of "fairness, justice, and transparency," aiming to promote the healthy development of Chinese electronic music culture and to discover the most promising outstanding electronic music producers and DJs in China. It brings together industry experts and judges from both China and abroad to provide a platform for electronic music producers and DJs nationwide to showcase their talents and exchange skills. This initiative aims to draw more attention to the development of domestic original electronic music producers and DJs, and to support and cheer for their growth. The DJ & EDM Creation major of the Beijing school of music technology and Tianjin Media College, in collaboration with Music China, will contribute their modest strength to the advancement of China's electronic music industry.
