China, Asia's largest and most influential trade fair for musical
instruments, today announced a landmark strategic partnership with International Music X (IMX),
a global platform shaping the future of the music industry. As part of
the 2025 edition, IMX will integrate its flagship event into Music
China, taking place from 22–25 October 2025 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), Hall N3.
This
collaboration unites IMX's forward-thinking agenda on music technology,
policy, and innovation with Music China's vast global network of
manufacturers, educators, distributors, and creators. Drawing over
119,000 attendees from 105 countries in 2024, Music China serves as the
ideal ecosystem to scale IMX's mission of building consensus on emerging
technologies such as AI, Web3, and next-generation copyright frameworks.
"Music China has long been the industry's most vital meeting point for trade, innovation, and cultural exchange," said a spokesperson for the Music China Organizing Committee. "By welcoming IMX to our 2025 platform, we are amplifying the conversation around the future of music — not just in terms of products, but in standards, ethics, and sustainable innovation.
